Mynd.ai to Acquire AI Voice Control Technology for Education
“We are thrilled to have reached an agreement to acquire this exciting technology” stated Arthur Giterman, Mynd’s Chief Executive Officer. “By untethering teachers from the front of the classroom, facilitating the automation of instructional workflows and generating content from educational resources, this technology is a perfect complement to Mynd’s existing product portfolio, all of which is designed to deliver freedom of choice, simplicity and adaptability.”
“Acquiring this technology will afford Mynd with an incredible opportunity to further incorporate AI into our Promethean ActivSuite® and Explain Everything® Platforms allowing customers to save time, gain insight, and seamlessly interact with content,” stated Lance Solomon, Mynd’s Chief Product Officer.
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, the closing of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions. The Company plans to close the transaction during the third quarter.
