Check out the 2023-2024 LEAP score results for Caddo and Bossier

The Louisiana Department of Education released the Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (LEAP) results for the 2023-2024 school year on July 24.

According to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE), testing data proved that students grade 3-8 improved by one point in English Language Arts (ELA).

“The latest LEAP data released today is encouraging, with overall performance holding steady in line with recent achievement gains. With improvement confirmed in early grades, Louisiana’s emphasis on literacy initiatives and fundamental skills development is beginning to bear fruit,” said Ronnie Morris, BESE President.

Caddo School District

The Caddo School District Central Office located at 1961 Midway Ave.

“We are incredibly proud of the sustained growth our students have continued to achieve as highlighted in today’s data release,” said Interim Superintendent Leisa G. Woolfolk.

According to Caddo School District, the LEAP score results showed that the district sustained a five percent growth across all subjects and grade levels between 2021 and 2024.
