TVS Motor Company has announced that it is entering the European market and has signed an agreement for import and distribution with Emil Frey. The Hosur-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer will be using Frey’s extensive distribution network and deep market insights in Europe. Emil Frey is a 100-year-old enterprise, leading the front in the automotive distribution in Europe. TVS’ European line-up will include products such as TVS Jupiter 125, Ntorq, Raider, iQube S, X, Ronin, TVS Apache RR 310, and Apache RTR 310.
“This strategic alliance with Emil Frey is a crucial step in our global expansion strategy. Europe will be a key market for us, and through this partnership, we aim to bring our cutting-edge products closer to European customers,” said Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director, TVS Motor Company.
This move will help TVS go truly global and form a foundation for its international operations, as it already has a significant presence in the SouthEast Asian markets. TVS Motor’s products are available in over 80 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. As of H1 FY 2023, exports make up nearly 25% of the company’s business.
“In having a partner like Emil Frey, there is a coming together of two century old, pedigreed organisations, both driven by shared values of responsible and sustainable mobility and customer service. Together, we are excited to serve customers and two-wheeler aficionados in Europe and look forward to a successful partnership,” added Venu.
