PRINCE GEORGE— Thursday evening was opening night for Theatre Northwests final play of the 2024 season. The play is a spoof adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes & The Hound of the Baskervilles by Steven Canny and John Nicholson.

When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead in his estate with the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the famous Sherlock Holmes is called to the scene. Holmes and his sidekick Dr. Watson must solve the mystery of Sir Charles death and investigate an ancient curse.

The final show takes place on May 15, 2024. Tickets are available at or at the box office.

Theatre Northwest warns that the play will contain coarse and outdated language. Viewers discretion is advised.
