Murgado Automotive Group of Miami has expanded again in the Chicago area, about three months just after obtaining two dealerships in the region.

The group’s CEO, Mario Murgado, on Friday purchased two dealerships from Paul Tamraz, founder, and Mick Austin, CEO, of Motor Werks Vehicle Team in Barrington, Unwell., a Murgado spokesman confirmed to Automotive Information.

The deal adds a Cadillac dealership, plus a store advertising the Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Infiniti and Honda manufacturers, all in different showrooms underneath 1 roof. Each stores are in Barrington, northwest of Chicago.

“Motor Werks was the initially Cadillac dealership that I ever visited as a boy with my father in 1975, so I am deeply familiar with the brand and its legacy,” Mario Murgado mentioned in a statement.

The team options to relocate the Cadillac dealership to the 40-acre campus that residences the five other models, according to the spokesman.

Cadillac’s setting up will be individual, he mentioned.

Motor Werks Vehicle was launched in 1971.
